We were very pleased with the dryer until after only 6 uses the heat went out on it. The repair team is on the way. Customer service was excellent, I just didn't expect to have to talk to them so soon!

I needed a washer and dryer that would fit in my closer and also be ventless as I have no vent in there. Drys beautifully every time. And both washer and dryer operate so quietly!

Bought this dryer with the matching washer over a month ago. After reading the reviews about condensing dryers, I was concerned that the dry times would be very high and the clothes would come out somewhat damp. As it turns out, the dry times are not much different than they were with our old vented dryer and the clothes are very dry (and not wrinkled) when they are done. Invariably, the actual dry time is quite a bit less than the machine's initial estimate. There is some warm (not hot) air that is vented from the front of the machine and the dryer becomes a bit warm (but, again, not hot). Based on some reviews, I have a concern about the reliability of the machine; although, at this point it appears to be of very high quality.

It was time to replace my 10-year old dryer - which I spent more money repairing than the thing probably cost initially. I researched all the various brands for a few weeks. Nowadays, it seems as though the Condensing/Vent-less dryers are all you can get. Living in a 1-bedroom condo, I was somewhat hesitant about getting one after reading several reviews. I'm not really a features person - doesn't everything wash/dry on normal cycle? But after reading the specs on all the various brands, and reading review after review, I chose this Electrolux 4.0 Vent-less dryer. AND, couldn't be happier. The condensing dryer does a great job in drying every load. Doesn't matter whether mixed loads, jeans & pants, or towels, the clothes finish up dry, and much less wrinkled compared to my old dryer. Do the loads take maybe a little longer than a vented dryer? Maybe so, but it's really not noticeable. My stacked washer/dryer are in a laundry closet. I have to keep the doors open when drying for air flow. The dryer is relatively quiet even with the doors open. Nice benefit - a little fabric softener in the wash cycle, and the circulating dryer air provides a nice scent throughout the condo. (The manual tells you not to use dryer sheets in the dryer.) I'm in Minnesota and it has been fall. I can't say it heats up my condo as I read in some reviews about the vent-less dryers. But after 60 days now, I'm extremely satisfied with my Electrolux choice and will recommend this brand to everyone.

Love it!

I think not having an exhaust hose is wonderful. So quiet and energyefficient but I have only had these for a month or so. Good name great reviews
