Steak Caribbean

1/3-cup fresh orange juice

cup red wine

2 Tbsp vegetable oil

1 Tbsp red wine vinegar

2 crushed garlic clove

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. baking soda

tsp Tabasco sauce

tsp tumeric

tsp ground ginger

tsp. dry mustard

3 lb. London broil

Tenderize London broil by poking with fork so marinade can reach inside. Mix ingredients together and put marinade and London broil into a gallon baggie. Marinate at room temperature for two hours or overnight in refrigerator turning occasionally. Remove steak from marinade and broil or grill to medium rare. Let meat rest for 5 to 10 minutes and then slice against the grain at a 45-degree angle. I usually test a couple of slices to make sure I am cutting in the right direction. It also tastes amazing right off the grill.
