This things does nt fill with water! It only fills about 7" maybe a 3rd of the way up! So I am saving water but I am using 3 time as much power from doing 3 times the amounts of loads! Not only does it not fill with water it is very LOUD!

The jury is still out.

I had no idea how loud this machine would be. It is quite an adjustment. The control knobs are VERY hard to read. And when I marked the plastic cover over the indicator arrow, it moves apart from the arrow below, so no help at all to see the arrow. Also, while I love water efficiency, the loads never seem to have enough water in there to cover the wash load. I'm not sure the clothes are getting a thorough cleaning; on the other hand, they seem to be getting cleaned....so I'm not sure.

worst machine ever

Moved into a new apartment within my building. The washer/dryer they had was from the late 90s and would fill up with 2 towels. I asked the building if I could get a newer, bigger one. This is what they replaced it with and if I had know, I would of kept the old one. Like all the other reviews state: The drum only fills up 1/3 to 1/2. Its a full size drum but you can't actually get a full load cleaned. Every time I do a load, I have to use a large stock pot and add water, twice (once for wash and once for rise). When I asked a building maintenance person about this, they said all of them are like this. What a horrible design. Why make the drum full size if I can't actually use it? I've seen some replies to the same complaint and they all say: "Ball up clothes and place them around the edge of the drum." Well doing this leaves me with the same load size as the 1990s washer I had before. Even worse, one reply to someone stating they couldn't wash a set of sheets: "We don't recommend washing a full set of sheets"! What a joke! The sad part is I am stuck with this piece of junk until I move out. If you're looking for a new stackable washer, do your self a favor and don't buy this. If I could give this 0 stars I would.
