Salmon with Cream Cheese Spread

1 lb. fillet of salmon

Montreal steak seasoning

Cover pan with foil and place salmon fillet skin side down. Cover the top of the salmon liberally with the seasoning. Broil for about 10 minutes. Start testing for doneness around 8 minutes. This can be done by placing a skewer or toothpick into salmon and then touching mouth. If toothpick is warm to the touch the salmon is done. Remove from over and gently flip salmon on another piece of foil. Place knife between skin and salmon and remove skin. Gently scrape off any remaining grey matter. This helps remove any strong flavors. Turn salmon back to pepper side up and gently flake in appetizer pieces. It can also be used as a main course.

Cream cheese spread

8 oz. cream cheese

3 Tbsp Fresh or dried dill

3 Tbsp Capers

Soften cream cheese and add dill and capers. Mold by hand or in bowl. Surround salmon and crackers or cucumbers.
